Allied International Movers arrived this morning to package our possessions, marking another pivotal point in our journey to KSA.
Procuring 44 years of ‘stuff’ has made the process painstakingly difficult. What stays and what goes has plagued us for months. Theres a sense of freedom as we release ourselves from idle possessions, however, the collection of stuff we own seems to be never-ending.
International transport modes included a combination of Air cargo, Ship cargo, and Plane. After a fair amount of confusion concerning weight limits, we elected to withdrawal a few heavier items and ship only the objects which possess a deep personal connection. Hopefully we stayed within the allowable parameters without creating a financial burden.
With each passing day, the emptiness of the house provides a subtle reminder to the reality of our epic journey.
